This is Sidney's first LOVE. His name is Junior and she has knows him for about 2 years now. They are starting to work together. Sidney entered her first "horse play day" this weekend. She did great. She competed in the poles and the barrels (lead line of course). It was so fun watching her.

This is her first barrel race!! You should have seen the look on her face! She LOVED it!!!!

This was Jackson's first hit in the 2009 season. As you can see it was not a great pitch but he still muscled it out. This was a very exciting time for all of us. THEN, there came the FIRST HOMERUN!!! Check out his smile as he crosses homeplate, I think that says it all. It was a great showing for our Plianview team. We won our second game in a row. WOW, we must have a good pitcher...it is harder than it looks!!!

New American Idol???

The cutie pie in the picture is named Carson. Don't you just want to kiss those cheeks!!! Jackson and Sidney were great entertainment for him!!

(sorry about the camers focus issues) You have not seen talent until you have checked out these rockin' guys!!! HOW MUCH FUN!!!!!! Needless to say, it doesn't matter how long we have been away from Nate and Trish, we seem to be able to pick up right where we left off! And can you ever get together with the Casey's and not have a DANCE PARTY!!!!

Today Sidney had her gymnastics exhibition!!! She LOVES gymnastics so this should be easy right. . . well, we got off to a rocky start but after she got it together she was able to perform at her best!! Wowing her Dad and her Nana with all her tricks!

Another BIG day at the Casey house! (well not AT our house but you know what I mean!!)

Today was Jackson's 1st grade awards assembly. He did a great job. Mom and Dad were very proud and of course brought to tears with the reality that our little boy is not so little anymore!!

Jackson spoke and they both sang at church this Sunday! Aren't they cute???? By the way, when Jackson watched this he said, "I didn't know that was a prayer!" (when he finished you can hear people in the background saying AMEN!!!

Great Wolf Lodge

We spent Jason's birthday weekend at Great Wolf lodge!! Can you say FUN!!! You could not slow Jackson down if you wanted to and Sidney went from crying half the way down to saying "yea, baby!!" the second half.

Sidney's last day of school!! Dressed in her favorite PINK tutu of course!!!

First track meet . . . second place!

Today was Jackson's end of the year track meet at his school. He ran the 100 meter dash and finished a strong second! We were so proud of him! He did great and had FUN!!! Due to the recent rain, his other event, the LONG jump was cancelled. . . maybe next year!!!

3rd tooth in 12 days!

Yes. . . this really is our little boy! He has now lost 5 teeth but he lost the last three in the last 12 days!!! I think his gums are sore from all that wiggling and pulling!! But he has been a trooper and has not lost the desire to take the teeth to school the next day to show them off before putting them under his pillow! He also noted tonight that some of his words may sound a little different for a while! He said he blows too much air now when he says his TH sound!!!

when I grow up

When I grow up by Sidney Casey. For the record, last week she wanted to be an astronaut, veterinarian, rock star, horse rider, police girl, and gymnastics coach. It came down to the wire and the fact that we already had gymnastic outfits!! This is at Sidney's pre-kindergarten graduation.
